What is Spinal Decompression Therapy?

Spinal Decompression Therapy is a traction-based, non-surgical, treatment for bulging discs, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and facet syndrome.

Possible symptoms of these conditions include:

  • Back Pain

  • Numbness in Arms / Legs
  • Loss of Sensation
  • Muscle Weakness
  • Tingling in Extremities

How does Spinal Decompression work?

Spinal Decompression is a medical traction-based device that produces a distractive force to the spine, resultant in a negative intradiscal pressure within the disc.  This creates a vacuum phenomenon and retraction of the disc.

For instance, if you squeeze a sponge in water, it will expand.  Same concept, the distraction and relaxation motion will draw nutrient-rich fluids back into the disc.

Why should I consider Spinal Decompression?

This is a non-surgical and non-invasive treatment.  We have a 90% success rate.

How long before I notice an improvement?

Most patients will notice an improvement within 2 weeks.

Is Spinal Decompression safe?

Yes.  Our Spinal Decompression device is computer driven and programmable specific to the patient’s weight and physical health.

Am I a candidate for Spinal Decompression?

Not everyone is a candidate.  Existing conditions such as vascular issues, structural diseases, hiatal hernias, or pregnancy exclude you from this treatment.  We will perform a thorough case history and examination to determine if you are a good candidate.
